The International Academy for Leadership (IAF) is a forum for international dialogue and intercultural exchange. It was set up by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF) at the beginning of the 1990s. IAF offers seminars, workshops, and information tours for leaders and Foundation partners from countries where the FNF runs projects.
Through these activities, the IAF furthers contacts with politicians and officials from government agencies, parties, associations, companies, organisations and projects both in Germany and other European countries. These exchanges and transfers of knowledge contribute to a sound dialogue among liberal multipliers from Germany, Europe and FNF project countries.
The 2020 Program of the IAF can be downloaded here.
E-Academy seminars are divided into three phases. In the first part, participants are given materials to read to deepen their knowledge. In the second part, they are encouraged to discuss via an online forum their views and insights. Lastly, participants will be asked to write an essay. These seminars do not require participants to be online at all times. They have the flexibility to work at their own pace provided they meet the deadlines assigned to each task.
